How the Revs Institute Preserves Automobile History.

It was a huge honor for us to be able to include the McLaren F1, which represents the absolute pinnacle of automotive success, in our search for the best sports vehicle of all time.

We were fortunate enough to have the Miles Collier Collections at Revs Institute provide us with a loan of the breathtakingly gorgeous green-and-tan example that we brought to Lime Rock Park.

It is not every day that an organization turns up the keys to a supercar that has the potential to change the world and is valued at more than twenty million dollars.

nevertheless, the Revs Institute is not your typical organization.Additionally, Miles Collier is an exceptional vehicle enthusiast in addition to being a fine artist, investor, and philanthropist.

His father and uncle were two of the founding members of the Sports Car Club of America, and they raced sports cars all the way back in the 1930s.

The lifelong vintage racer grew up in an environment that was filled with gearheads.

Mr. Collier has accumulated an incredible collection of over one hundred historically significant automobiles over the course of his life. Among these automobiles is the McLaren F1 No. 022.

which was featured in the edition that was published in November and December of 2020.

However, the Miles Collier Collections aren't your standard classic vehicle museum by any stretch of the imagination.

According to Carl Grant, the managing director of the Revs Institute, "Miles has always been about, how do we understand the role the automobile played in history?" Miles has always considered this question.
